Thirteen months ago Ship Smart, Inc. picked up items I was sending from VA to CA, in anticipation of a move. Of course, there was COVID, then there were the fires and then there was a change in the decision to move. So, for those thirteen months, my items remained safely in their local warehouse. During this time I had to arrange to pick up several items. The staff was helpful and all was handled professionally. Just this week, 13 months later, I arranged to pick up my stuff from the same place it had been stored, never having moved across the country. The company representative kept in touch, was helpful, professional and working with him in this stressful situation was a pleasure. We picked up my items without incident. I moved from Berkeley Ca. to Brooklyn NY. I moved a new full size bed and 19 boxes. The 2 gentlemen that can for pick up were wonderful. They were so professional and respecful of my things. I felt confident I made the right choice. I was notified of the delivery date, was asked if that day would work for me. They called me that morning to confirm time of arrival. The 2 gentlemen from the New Jersey warehouse were just as wonderful as the pick up staff. My bed and frame came boxed so were well protected. I am very impressed with this company. I was under a very short time frame to get my items from one coast to the other and Ship Smart came through. They arrived at my home when promised, reassured me that my items would be crated and packed to insure there was no damage and they actually arrived at the destination a day early! Their quote was very comparable but the service they provided was outstanding. I also had them pack separate (2) sets of china dishes, crystal and silverware for our nephews in FL which without Ship Smart's expertise, these dishes would have been even more damaged upon arrival than they were. I used another company to deliver these cartons and they showed no respect for my items so it was a lesson learned.I am very impressed with this company. I cannot say enough about Ship Smart - they specialize in small moves and were amazingly responsive, came in UNDER the estimate (and admitted it), delivered everything 2 weeks sooner than we expected and everything was in PERFECT condition. They packed the larger items for us (for a fee, of course) and they did a better job than we ever could have done. A desk, TV, computer, 2 computer monitors - all in perfect shape when they arrived as well as all the boxes we packed ourselves. I had to ship an antique bedroom set (bed and dresser) from New England to the Gulf Coast which was too small a load for any large moving company. Ship Smart was recommended to me. I called and their helpful customer service representatives walked me through the process. They provided quotes in a timely manner, helped me with insurance and sent emails to confirm everything. Within a week or so, 3 movers from a local agent company for Mayflower, came to my house and carefully packed each piece in my front yard, as requested. The pieces included a large dresser mirror that is very fragile. 10 days later, the furniture safely arrived at its destination 1400 miles away. There was a small snafu in getting the furniture to the recipient's house due issues with a narrow street. At one point the dispatcher in the warehouse to which the furniture was delivered called the recipient and indicated he would have to come pick the furniture up. Calls to Ship Smart's customer service eventually cleared up this misunderstanding because we had paid for door to door delivery. It did take two days to figure this out, but one customer service rep named Kendra personally made sure that the furniture was delivered to the front porch. She also kept me updated on my end over the course of two days. On the day the furniture was finally delivered, Kendra sent me an email confirming it and apologizing for the confusion. This is an example of Ship Smart's great attention to detail and customer service. When the furniture arrived at its destination, the recipient reported to me that "The furniture was so well packed that it took me 4 days to upwrap it!" We have used Ship Smart on two occasions to ship furniture. They provide a unique service for shipping smaller amounts of goods. Large moving companies have minimum charges that were much too high for the amount of furniture we had to ship. Ship Smart was the perfect answer for our needs. After a few adjustments regarding box dimensions I asked for a new quote and received it in less than 20 min. It was about $400 cheaper than the other long distance movers in the Houston area, I was ecstatic about the price. Shipsmart coordinates everything, we had Pack ‘n Send movers pick up my belongings in Houston, take it to a warehouse where everything was palleted and wrapped (my quote was spot on and did not change from the estimate I was given) and then Orbit Moving made the final delivery to my apartment in Orlando. Shipsmart coordinates everything, we had Pack ‘n Send movers pick up my belongings in Houston, take it to a warehouse where everything was palleted and wrapped (my quote was spot on and did not change from the estimate I was given) and then Orbit Moving made the final delivery to my apartment in Orlando. Everything arrived just the way I packed it. I couldn’t be happier.

Excellent service I shipped two family tables to my nephew in Chicago. The men arrived at my house a few minutes before the scheduled time, went upstairs and collected the tables and left all within 5 minutes. Ship Smart arranged delivery with my nephew, and the tables were delivered in good condition. Ship Smart did a marvelous job of shipping an executive desk to NY and a jukebox to AZ for us. We chose to have both crated for extra piece of mind. Both arrived in the same condition they had departed the house. The recipients were impressed by the packing.
