They showed up on time, packed all the items and everything was delivered perfectly. I priced other moving firms and they were the most reasonable ...... the cherry on the top. They were very professional, quick to respond to my questions and a quote, and the shipment was packed very well. The crate was professional constructed with no damage during its shipment. However, my cabinet weighed significantly more than was projected with an increased cost. I am pleased that Ship Smart worked with me to arrive at a reasonable rate for shipping. The cabinet was well packaged and was delivered on time as expected. The driver who delivered the package was very thoughtful and helpful. Given my recent interaction with Ship Smart, I would not hesitate to use their services again. Packing was very good - everything packed on pallets and wrapped in heavy, protective plastic. Pick-up and delivery were timely - received goods in one week (DC to Saint Louis). Pricing was transparent - actual price was higher than original quotation but due to our having more shipping weight so fair and understandable. I was very please with the move with ShipSmart from beginning to end destination delivery. It was a west to east coast move in winter with me in transit as well.. The matching up dates for pick up and delivery was tricky and ShipSmart worked with me, 1. Employees were knowledgeable and patient with me during my initial phone contacts to arrange move. 2. The pick up was on sechedule, the packers knew their job well - were friendly quick, and positive when picking up in Sausalito, CA. 3. When there was some miscues on delivery date ShipSmart made good on original delivery commitment. They made the move stress free. 4. Trucking Company that did drop off in Cape Cod MA were timely, personable, and very very helpful also. 5. He was caring, followed through on promises and worked out difficult details for delivery to my rural area where roads were not compatible with large vans normally used. The furniture was packed with great care, nothing was damaged, the delivery person was on time, polite and helpful. From Plymouth MN to Scottsdale AZ...a perfect journey for two valued tables. The packaging and crating and service incredibly meticulous. The driver at the destination was helpful in getting the crate to the inside of the garage which was not part of the quote to deliver "curbside". I was at the point of origination as well as destination. Not inexpensive!!! But, you get what you pay for! Btw, the estimate was 33% less than the final price as all is weighed after packing!
