Everything was handled well and we were kept informed.There was some damage to an antique piece, it was photographed and noted and we needed an estimate for repair. Then the virus hit and no one could come to do that. I compared a few shippers for my small shipment and this was the best option. I made a good choice in Ship Smart. I had only a few items, a sofa, four dining room chairs and two easy chairs I had inherited from a relative that I wanted moved from D.C. to NYC. Ship Smart took good care of them. Ship Smart was an excellent choice for me for shipping a bike, a mattress, some chairs, and a bunch of boxed household items across country. It took a week, which was excellent...and all the items on the pallet had been padded/packed so thoroughly and with such care, there wasn’t even a scratch on anything. This was the best move I’ve had. Everything went beautifully from first contact to delivery of a bookcase from St. Louis to San Antonio. The delivery here was perfect and the bookcase wonderfully crated and protected. When my friend arranged to remove my old bookcase, using a commercial dolly we then unwrapped the bookcase and it was in perfect condition, not a scratch. Again with the use of the dolly. it is now lovingly ensconced in my office where I can remember my dear sister who died on Dec. 19, 2019. The price was more, but I understand that the weight was different than estimated.
