The personnel at every step of the way were responsive and very professional. The people who packed up Mom's apartment were engineers -- really! They efficiently and carefully packed the apartment contents, padded items against breakage, utilized every available space to keep the shipment as compact as possible, and were very fast.The people who delivered the pallets to our curbside communicated their arrival time and were very courteous. The pallets were placed carefully, and were easily accessible for us to unpack. We would definitely use this company again, and happily recommend them to all who ask.

Only question I had was how they measured the poundage, as the charge was based on an estimate and I was told it would be recalculated after picked up, however the price remained the same. Huh? At any rate, everyone I encountered was professional and pleasant.

At every step, what was promised was always delivered! We needed to ship one large item from Massachusetts to Seattle. Ship Smart was recommended to us by a large moving company, and I am extremely grateful for that recommendation. Easy Experience Phone call scheduling was very friendly and professional. The crew that came to wrap was well organized and figured out how to handle a 300 pound antique china cabinet with weal legs. The people on the receiving end were very pleased with the delivery notification, ease of working with their schedule, and placement of the items. I would definitely used them again.

The movers themselves, on both ends of the move, were the best - at their jobs and as human beings. They were highly skilled, fast, efficient, caring and kind. And the reps with whom I communicated while setting up the move were courteous, knowledgeable, professional, always available by phone and by email, and responsive to all my concerns. packers did an excellent job packers did an excellent job and proof was that nothing was broken in the 1000+ Fiesta dinnerware. Problem was at receiving end. The local company twice brought out the wrong shipment. This caused my daughter to take time off from work to be home. The third delivery was the correct one.

Driver would not put my daughters Piano … Driver would not put my daughters Piano in her driveway. Told her he was not allowed to place it anywhere on her property. Would leave on side just off pavement. Her husband had go pick it up at warehouse.

My move was quoted completely and when … My move was quoted completely and when I added items on I felt the total was more than fair. The pickup was on time, professional and courteous. The delivery was ahead of schedule and not a single item was damaged. The packing was science to me. The way things were arranged and stacked was pretty ingenious. The delivery was like the pickup: professional and courteous. Along the way, I was kept informed of every step. I don't often give an unqualified five stars, but this is it. You have to do a little sweat equity, but you know that going in.

NYC to Melbourne We were relocating back from NYC to Melbourne and had 7 large boxes to ship back. The quoting process was fairly painless and the price was good. We originally were quoted for 5 boxes, but ended up adding 2 more (which I did call to get an updated quote). After pickup the price nearly doubled! (something about actual volume vs calculated despite providing exact measurements) But after a little back and forth, Shipsmart were able to sort something out that we were all happy with. Our goods arrived in Melbourne packaged and labelled well on the pallet. They were also spot on with the ETA. Everything seems to be in the condition that we sent it in. We chose will call rather than door to door, so there were some extra charges at our end, plus customs forms, etc. But overall pretty happy with the service.

January shipment Pickup great, but at delivery 1) all packing material not removed 2) found piece that turns on the floor lamp on floor, so broken and needs to be replaced 3) desk lamp shade delivered with black marks and creases ; also needs replacement & 4) piece of enamel design on expensive floor mirror broken off . ...upsetting as didn't expect to have to repair/replace items as told 98% no breakage record so didn't get insurance. Not sure if caused by way packed at pickup or a little carelessness when delivered. I would appreciate a prompt response with your thoughts about what occurred and since you seem very interested in providing good customer service, anything you can do to make us feel better about the damaged pieces would also be very much appreciated.

Not Perfect--but Good---Great Customer Service Our stuff got to us, but delivery was a little rocky. No clear from the beginning is that your stuff is left on pallets and you have to break it down and move the stuff yourself, plus dispose of the pallets. Packing was good and efficient, but tracking delivery was not perfect. Ship Smart uses independent hauling and warehousing at the delivery end(I think), so tracking delivery is tricky.An OK experience, but I think it comes down to better communication so the customer knows what to expect.As a footnote, because our delivery was delayed a day the ShipSmart manager reimbursed us for an extra nite hotel stay! This shows a commitment to customer service-- we'll use them again!!!!!!!!!

ShipSmart. I would use them again. In my case, the estimated cost was 50% below actually. However, it was oversized and heavy furniture. I am satisfied with the service from Ship Smart and would consider them next time. The goods arrived as scheduled and in good shape -- no damage.

From Georgia to hawaii I needed to ship a piece of furtniture my mother left me when she died. It wasn't brand new so I was worried about it making it the journey in one piece. Shipsmart was always nice and willing to answer my questions even when I was just inquiring. Shipsmart had to send my furniture to another company that ships across the pacific. My only gripe is they didn't put my name on the box so the pacific company didn't know who's it was for. If I wasn't on top of it my package could of been lost. i wish it was less money but they were the only company that would ship my one light weight item. Most shipping companies have rules where the pallet has to be at least 2000lbs. I wish they had a tracking system you could see as well. Well all in all I'm happy with my experience and I would recommend them.

Useful for a small furniture shipment Two antique wooden and glass pieces sent and arrived damage free. Takes a bit of time for everything to get handled but the company was professional in all respects.
