I highly recommend Ship Smart. From the time I called to inquire about their service to the final delivery day, I was so happy with everyone I encountered by phone and in person. I moved from Berkeley Ca. to Brooklyn NY. I moved a new full size bed and 19 boxes. The 2 gentlemen that can for pick up were wonderful. They were so professional and respecful of my things. I felt confident I made the right choice. I was notified of the delivery date, was asked if that day would work for me. They called me that morning to confirm time of arrival. The 2 gentlemen from the New Jersey warehouse were just as wonderful as the pick up staff. My bed and frame came boxed so were well protected. They too were very professional and respectful of my things. I had contacted the office a couple of times to inform them of a few changes from the original estimate and everyone was so helpul and accomodating.The total cost of the move was so reasonable. I had 2 large moving companies do an in home estimate for this size move and they both recommended Ship Smart. I saved $6,000.00+ using Ship Smart. They are fantastic and I would definitely call them again as well as recommend to my family and friends. Thank you Ship Smart.

Long Wait, But Worth the While (Coast to Coast) Ship Smart helped me with my last minute coast to coast move. They were extremely flexible on the phone, via email, and the team was willing to help at all steps. They walked me through the insurance and planning, and were honest with their weight and price quotation. All their costs and fees were transparent from beginning to end, and I ended up paying the exact price of my initial quotation + insurance. My move was coast to coast, and with nearly 40 heavy boxes, they arrived with everything accounted for. Even my TV didn't suffer any damage during the long coast to coast journey! If you have a small-medium sized move, I would definitely recommend Ship Smart for your moving needs.

I inherited a nearly 100 year old glass… I inherited a nearly 100 year old glass top wroght iron table that needed to be shipped from Washington to California. I had been looking at a few different shipping companies and decided on ShipSmart after speaking with Carly on initial estimates and shipped process. Carly was personable and wonderful and I felt immediately positive about booking with ShipSmart. The process was fantastic, true to estimate, efficient and communicative through the ship. When the table and chairs arrived, I wasn’t expecting the glass top to survive the journey, but the amount of care was apparent in the packing. Glass survived the trip and the rest of the items were packed safely and securely as if the people packing were shipping their own family heirloom. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and service and the price was very fair-no hidden costs-and a little less than I had been expecting. I have had some poor experiences with shipping companies in the past and ShipSmart exceeded my expectations-I am so thrilled! Thank you Carly and thank you ShipSmart!!

Ship Smart cares So far my experience has been poor. Furniture PU on 5/6 it is now 6/23 and I cannot get a status on when will be delivered (going from Arizona to California!) After 2 calls to customer service last week I was told that they would follow up with me once they heard from the dock where the furniture was - this is the 21st century, how long should it be for them to get a response? After paying over 1900 dollars to has the items shipped, as a customer do I not deserve some follow-up? This company has a good rating, but obviously their customer service people need more training. I am only asking for a status update but cannot get one.I wrote this review because of my frustration with the communication. However, the day after I wrote this review I was contacted by Trish with an apology and a promise to follow-up on the status of the shipment. Within 24 hours she provided me with the status and the furniture was delivered on 7/2. I appreciated Trishs' follow through....that was all I had wanted in the first place. Thank you Trish for your assistance.

Well packaged items. Well packaged items, almost too well in fact. Shipping costs almost exceeded the value of the items shipped. My only criticism. However, the items reached us in the same condition as when they left the house in California. You did what you said you'd do. Couldn't ask for more.

Excellent Communication and Service I appreciated the high level of communication I received from the Ship Smart Team from beginning to end. At each step, I knew where my order stood. The delivery team even unwrapped and placed my glass tops on my tables for me which I had not expected them to do. Would highly recommend this company for any small moves!

Off to Retirement I am very impressed with this company. I was under a very short time frame to get my items from one coast to the other and Ship Smart came through. They arrived at my home when promised, reassured me that my items would be crated and packed to insure there was no damage and they actually arrived at the destination a day early! Their quote was very comparable but the service they provided was outstanding. I also had them pack separate (2) sets of china dishes, crystal and silverware for our nephews in FL which without Ship Smart's expertise, these dishes would have been even more damaged upon arrival than they were. I used another company to deliver these cartons and they showed no respect for my items so it was a lesson learned.

I cannot say enough about Ship Smart I cannot say enough about Ship Smart - they specialize in small moves and were amazingly responsive, came in UNDER the estimate (and admitted it), delivered everything 2 weeks sooner than we expected and everything was in PERFECT condition. They packed the larger items for us (for a fee, of course) and they did a better job than we ever could have done. A desk, TV, computer, 2 computer monitors - all in perfect shape when they arrived as well as all the boxes we packed ourselves.Moving our daughter home from college from NOLA to Arizona was a piece of cake, thanks to Ship Smart.

Gratefulness! It all begin when a friend suggested that I contact Ship Smart, Inc, to ship some boxes to Milwaukee, as a result of my Mother's passing in Miami, Florida. The first contact with the Company's representative was so customer friendly, patient and understanding of the enormous task before me.The representative worked with me for pickup and with the delivery of my shipping once I returned home, All expectations were met, and the price was very reasonable.

Great assistance from staff in managing… Great assistance from staff in managing abs arranging the move of antique dining furniture from a home in AZ to another in TX. Furniture arrived at final destination after a short stay in storage waiting on truck space/availability. It was delivered into our garage, expertly wrapped, on the shipping pallet, in perfect condition. Price was very reasonable compared to contracting directly with a moving company. I saved several thousand dollars for this cross state move. I would recommend Ship Smart to anyone with a flexible schedule who needs to move items.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience Couldn’t be happier with my experience! I was moving to Florida from NY, but Covid really messed up my plans. I worked with a storage place in Florida over the phone and via email while still waiting to leave NY, and ShipSmart delivered my boxes safely to the storage unit while I was still in NY! BTW, kudos to the storage management but that’s a different review!

Very Pleased with the Service I was a bit worried since I did read some negative reviews, but the positive reviews on Trustpilot helped me take the leap. The team was very helpful and always picked up my calls and responded back by email in a prompt manner. They transported my stuff cross country on short notice for a reasonable cost. The items arrived in perfect, unscathed condition. I would absolutely use these guys again and recommend them.

Ship Smart Rocks. Just received my china cabinet from NJ. I live in WA state. The cabinet arrived in great condition. It suffered no damage in transit. The folks in NJ did a great job packing it up for shipping. It took 3 weeks for it to arrive. I paid for the white glove service at the destination and it was worth every penny I paid for it. From beginning to end the process was painless and I was kept up to date on all aspects of the move. Ship Smart was a great company to deal with. Antique Bedroom Set Shipped Safely and Quickly I had to ship an antique bedroom set (bed and dresser) from New England to the Gulf Coast which was too small a load for any large moving company. Ship Smart was recommended to me. I called and their helpful customer service representatives walked me through the process. They provided quotes in a timely manner, helped me with insurance and sent emails to confirm everything. Within a week or so, 3 movers from a local agent company for Mayflower, came to my house and carefully packed each piece in my front yard, as requested. The pieces included a large dresser mirror that is very fragile. 10 days later, the furniture safely arrived at its destination 1400 miles away. There was a small snafu in getting the furniture to the recipient's house due issues with a narrow street. At one point the dispatcher in the warehouse to which the furniture was delivered called the recipient and indicated he would have to come pick the furniture up. Calls to Ship Smart's customer service eventually cleared up this misunderstanding because we had paid for door to door delivery. It did take two days to figure this out, but one customer service rep named Kendra personally made sure that the furniture was delivered to the front porch. She also kept me updated on my end over the course of two days. On the day the furniture was finally delivered, Kendra sent me an email confirming it and apologizing for the confusion. This is an example of Ship Smart's great attention to detail and customer service. When the furniture arrived at its destination, the recipient reported to me that "The furniture was so well packed that it took me 4 days to upwrap it!" Thank you, to Mayflower and to Ship Smart , for taking such good care of these family heirlooms.

Many thanks to ShipSmart. Used ShipSmart to ship a fragile Curio Cabinet from the late 1800's, from Minnesota to Arizona. What a great experience. The care taken to pick up, pack, ship and deliver was impressive. The cabinet arrived in great shape. Can't say enough good things about our experience with this company. I would highly recommend this company with any shipping needs you may have. The price was right around what I would have expected. I opted for in house delivery which was extra, but it was worth the peace of mind. Everyone we dealt with from first contact to final delivery was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The delivery team too was very good in their care moving the cabinet from the truck to the house. Thanks again for a job well done.

Excellent service that fills a real need We have used Ship Smart on two occasions to ship furniture. They provide a unique service for shipping smaller amounts of goods. Large moving companies have minimum charges that were much too high for the amount of furniture we had to ship. Ship Smart was the perfect answer for our needs. Both their pick and delivery service were handled very well and our furniture arrived in good shape and in a reasonable time frame. We will use them any time we need to ship furniture and boxes in the future.

Ship Smart is the place to go for small… Ship Smart is the place to go for small and not so small deliveries. Dining Room furniture was moved from Texas to Louisiana. The price was better than some of the other's I received. More importantly, the service and the handling of the furniture was very meticulous. No mishaps! Ronnie and Sylvia brought each piece in, unwrapped and setup. Beautiful! We appreciated them very much.

5 star service every step of the way I’ve had 5 star service every step of the way with Shipsmart! My quote for 14 box and a china cabinet was sent ASAP. After a few adjustments regarding box dimensions I asked for a new quote and received it in less than 20 min. It was about $400 cheaper than the other long distance movers in the Houston area, I was ecstatic about the price. Shipsmart coordinates everything, we had Pack ‘n Send movers pick up my belongings in Houston, take it to a warehouse where everything was palleted and wrapped (my quote was spot on and did not change from the estimate I was given) and then Orbit Moving made the final delivery to my apartment in Orlando. Everything arrived just the way I packed it. I couldn’t be happier.

The men arrived at my house a few minutes before the scheduled time, went upstairs and collected the tables and left all within 5 minutes. Ship Smart arranged delivery with my nephew, and the tables were delivered in good condition. I was kept informed throughout the process, and am very satisfied.

Ship Smart did a marvelous job! Ship Smart did a marvelous job of shipping an executive desk to NY and a jukebox to AZ for us. We chose to have both crated for extra piece of mind. Both arrived in the same condition they had departed the house. The recipients were impressed by the packing.
