I was delighted to find Ship Smart I was delighted to find Ship Smart. I was having trouble finding a mover that would handle transport of 2 pieces of furniture cross country. Ship Smart handled the process smoothly and for a reasonable price. My questions were answered every step of the way. All the people we encountered throughout the process were professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Ship Smart.

Great Service, extra cost They movers came as scheduled. They packed up the table and chairs and then they left. The movers emailed me and let me know. The total price. They shipped it out to Portland Oregon and it arrived in 2 weeks time. It was well packed and there was no damage when it arrived. The only thing I have a problem with was they estimated it and when they finally shipped it it cost me over 200 dollars more. The reason I chose this company was because they were 500-700 dollars cheaper than a few other movers. It was still cheaper but I ended up paying more for the shipment. It is all ok but I didnt like the extra tacked on after they shipped it.

I recently had to ship an antique… I recently had to ship an antique dining room set from Ft. Myers, Fla to North Carolina from a private residence.I was worried about who to call for such a small shipment and getting the item back home safely. I found Shipsmart online and got a speedy estimate on the cost based on the number of items and weights I provided.The rest was simple-I contacted them by phone to verify when I needed the items picked up, they gave me an actual cost for the shipment,they kept me updated by email and phone calls, they contacted the local movers,they wrapped it up securely and sent it to a local distribution center where it was crated and shipped.It arrived as promised in excellent condition at the cost they had quoted and delivered right into my garage.I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing to ship items that traditional movers don't want to bother with due to being small shipments.I couldn't have ask for better customer service..Thanks again Shipsmart !

Great job Great job. Picked my desk up, crated it(very well), and delivered it as timely as possible. A little expensive though. Estimate will go up after they crate your product, then weigh it again. Crate added almost 90lbs. However, with the crate job they did, NOTHING was going to damage my desk.

Texas to Massachusetts I had to ship my late parents furniture from Texas to Massachusetts. I had no idea how to do this, or how much it would cost. I called shipsmart and the process from start to finish was simple and quick. The people I spoke to over the phone were extremely helpful. Both people shipping the stuff and the people delivering it to my house communicated to me every step of the way. Great moving company! When my husband and I decided we were moving from Northern California to Southern California, we did not think twice about it and hired ShipSmart. We had used them before for a move and they provided excellent service, great pricing and prompt delivery. They again provided the same high quality of service to us on our move from Truckee mountains to Oxnard beaches. It was great to not have to worry about the moving aspect when you are in the escrow and trying to purchase another home. Of course our belongings were boxed and thoroughly wrapped that we had no damage at all. Thank you ShipSmart for your excellent service...definitely recommend you to all for their moving needs.

Good Service but Communication Could be Better Shipment pick-up and delivery was very good. Communication could have been better during the interim period of the pick-up and delivery. All personnel were courteous, but a proactive update during the actual shipment period would have been appreciated. Total turnaround time was about 4 weeks. This is a good service and fulfills a gap created by the big moving companies who don't want moves with less than a couple thousand pounds.
