Great For a small interstate move likes mines, I found ShipSmart efficient, fast and reliable over the large commercial movers. I requested a quote on a Thurs. and my things were delivered in about a week. I was impressed with the care exercised when they packed my items. Fantastic pick up; mediocre delivery I chose Ship Smart because they specialize in small moves and they allowed me to choose the date and time for my pick up, which was very important. The final cost (based on weight) was a little more than I expected but still reasonable. The local agents in Baltimore, MD were excellent. They were on time, efficient and professional. The delivery of my items, however, was disappointing. Reddaway, the local agent in Southern California, missed the first delivery date because they "had the wrong truck ordered". They didn't even call me to tell me they weren't showing up. I had to call the next day to find out why they didn't arrive. We scheduled again and they didn't show up AGAIN because they neglected to ensure my order was properly scheduled. They finally delivered on the third try. Everything was present, nothing was broken but it was very unprofessional to miss two scheduled deliveries and not even call me to let me know what had happened.

Wicker Furniture I had wicker furniture shipped from Long Island, New York to the Pittsburgh are. I was concerned that it would be damaged, especially because I did not buy insurance. There was no need for me to worry. It was packaged very well and there was absolutely no damage whatsoever. I recommend them for any small furniture moves. I did complain about their final shipping rates. They were very courteous and worked with me and felt their final rate was fair.

Very professional company! Our family has used Ship Smart on two occasions when we were clearing out parents' homes and needed to send things to relatives all over the country. They make it so easy! They are reliable and very flexible, updating plans with no problem as things change. They check in to confirm timing so there aren't any glitches. The people they work with on the receiving end are similarlyflexiblle, with a can-do attitude. Overall, I had a good experience with Ship Smart Inc. The pick-up of furniture in Florida went very well.The furniture waited in a storage in Largo,FL for a while before being picked up.That was the only part I wish had gone more quickly.The furniture arrived in San Antonio pretty quickly.It was delivered to our house smoothly.

Victorian Furniture I was pleased with the handling of my 7 piece victorian parlor set that I shipped from Florida to Kansas. My concern was that the pieces would not arrive intact.The receiver informed me that each piece was shrink wrapped and boxed on pallets.I would use this service again!

Small Shipment from Houston, TX to NYC ShipSmart sales staff were excellent in their communication and assistance.They were flexible to adjust my order when my requirements changed for pickup, and then revised the delivery date to accommodate my daughter-in-laws schedule in NYC.

After our mother died, I used ShipSmart to pickup, pack, transport and unpack my sister's portion of their furniture, because she lives at the other end of California.They arrived just when they said they would, both at Mom's house and at my sister's. They packed and loaded everything up in just a couple of hours.When they delivered the goods about 10 days later, everything was in perfect condition.They helped my elderly sister and brother-in-law, by unpacking each piece and carrying it into the room where they wanted it.Again, they did it all in just a couple of hours, even though there was a lot of big furniture. Making the arrangements for the move was quite easy, and straightforward.Most importantly, we all felt that they treated us and our well loved furniture with respect and care.

Efficient Small Load Shipping We had a furniture load of about 350 pounds that was too small for traditional movers to be bothered with so we tried Ship Smart.It was efficient from pickup in Houston to delivery in Denver with both of those scheduled at times of our convenience. Ship Smart provided excellent service I wanted to ship an antique bed to my son in Washington.Several large movers were not interested in such a small shipment, however found Ship Smart on the internet and found them to be courteous, prompt and very professional.They arrived at my house on schedule, and my son reported they were very accommodating setting up a mutually agreeable delivery day & time. An easy reliable way to ship cumbersome items! When a mover isn't warranted and the items would be a pain to ship on your own, I would highly recommend ShipSmart. Grandpa's Desk I can only simply say, "The Best".The best people to work with, the best price, the best at meeting their scheduled delivery and pick-up, and more importantly the best value for the buck!My wife had to close her mother's home in San Antonio, TX and called me to say that she very much wanted to keep her Grandfather's Desk but seeing as she flew from Chicago to San Antonio I was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to check the desk through as luggage for the trip home.So how does one get a desk packaged and shipped?After some internet searching I found Ship Smart.They walked me through the process, answered all my questions, and made me feel like my wife's childhood memories would be safely delivered.I would never consider using anyone else in the future.
