Houses With Rear Alleys

Many Dallas neighborhoods, the M Streets and Prestonwood among them, and much of Richardson, have alleys behind the houses with garages that open onto them. If yours does, say so when you book, because the alley can be an easier loading spot than the front curb. Move the trash bins and check for low branches the day before.

Newer Suburbs on the North Edge of the Metroplex

Subdivisions in Prosper, Celina and Little Elm often have guard gates or HOA rules about commercial vehicles. Add the crew to the gate list and read your HOA’s parking rules before pickup day.

Picking a Date

We suggest booking at least 10 days out. Same-week pickup is often possible, though extra fees may apply. May through August is the busiest stretch for moves, spring storms with hail can push a loading day, and the State Fair of Texas crowds the roads around Fair Park from late September into October, so leave slack in your plan if you live near Fair Park or Deep Ellum.
