Packing Materials: Examples of different packing materials.

Packing materials help stabilize your goods inside their containers. They also help absorb shock during transit. Below is a brief description of the various types of packing materials that can be used to protect your items.

Packing paper is an inexpensive way to add protection to your items. This product is mainly used when packing cartons of household items. By crumpling up the paper and inserting them between wrapped items you can stabilize your items.

Corrugated Cardboard

Corrugated cardboard is cardboard that is reinforced with ridges. The ridges allow the cardboard to bend so that it is easier to wrap items while at the same time adding more protection than packing paper.

Cardboard sheet is used to wedge packaged items into an external container. This prevents packaged items from moving around in the external container during transit.

Foam

Foam sheet is one of the best ways to protect your items during transportation. Many of our custom crates are lined with foam sheets like this to help absorb shock.

You can have us do all the work and provide the materials, using our on-site packing service.
